Hawaii Energy and The National Energy Education Development Project (NEED) are excited to offer energy education workshops for K-12 schools on the islands of Hawaii, Lanai, Maui, Molokai and Oahu.

The NEED Project’s mission is to promote an energy conscious and educated society. NEED is the nation’s leading provider of energy education programs and materials to schools. The NEED Project includes teacher-tested educational materials, evaluation techniques and tools, recognition of student achievement, and professional development for educators.  All NEED learning activities are correlated to Hawaii science content and performance standards.

Hawaii Energy offers cash rebates and other incentives to residents and businesses to help offset the cost of installing energy efficient equipment.  In addition to rebates, the program conducts education and training for residents, businesses and trade allies to encourage the adoption of energy conservation behaviors and efficiency measures.
